MEP Management

The core of our business is the MEP management service that we can provide on your project. We can provide support and management from the pre-construction phase all the way through to the commissioning and client training phase of each project.

We have worked for most of the blue chip main contractors in the UK and have solely managed MEP packages from £250k through to MEP packages in excess of £80m.

Our typical MEP Management duties are as follows:

Pre Construction

  • Undertake technical review of client’s documentation and specifications
  • Attend client site visits from a MEP perspective
  • Attend client interviews and report on the MEP key issues
  • Undertake financial analysis of MEP sub contractor quotations
  • Make M&E tender recommendations
  • Assist in placing MEP sub contract orders
  • Produce MEP procurement schedules and programmes
  • Produce MEP installation programmes
  • Manage the M&E design process
  • Comment on MEP installation RAMS


  • Chair weekly MEP meetings
  • Manage MEP procurement
  • Comment of MEP sub contractor financial variations
  • Manage new power, gas, water and telecoms services to site
  • Manage the client’s online document control systems – Conject; 4P
  • Attend client progress meetings and report on MEP progress
  • Monitor MEP progress on site
  • Undertake MEP snagging
  • Review subcontractor MEP installation RAMS


  • Manage the commissioning process
  • Produce detailed commissioning programmes
  • Produce detailed change over and switching schedules
  • Produce integrated system testing methodology documents
  • Facilitate M&E client training
